ACORN is an organisation that carries out practical conservation work in the Ivel Valley area of Bedfordshire, e.g. planting; hedge laying; habitat improvement and creation; and footpath access. It is a partner in the Parish Paths Partnership.

The group works mainly on Sundays and some Saturdays, they also meet on Wednesdays. Occasionally there are evening meetings such as talks and slides at a local pub. There are organised walks and visits to nature reserves at weekends.

This group is affiliated to the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers.
